What is the most intense part of being a DJ? It's when you are playing 2 bangin' tracks on top of each other lovely and the air from the bass of the monitor speakers are gently hitting you across the face.... These are a few of my favorite things :)Okay. So, here is my story. I was born and raised in the NYC area and spent most of my earlier years getting an education on the dance floors of Twilo, Roxy, Palladium, Limelight, Club USA. etc.. I fooled around, started buying music and started learning how to DJIn 2000 I made the move to Fort Lauderdale, FL. The best move I ever made. It was South Florida that encouraged and motivated me to make DJing an actual reality. Hard work, practice, paitence, some heartbreak but the love for the music and to be able to play it felt so right.So, I got out there, told everyone and persistently worked at getting in the clubs. Some of the venues I have played are:The Coliseum, The Manor, The Copa, Torpedo, Jackhammer, Slammer, Boom, The Leather Masked ball VIP room, Purgatory, Elements, The Hideaway, The Eagle, The Ramrod, Dudes Bar, The Schubert Resort in Fort Lauderdale FLTwist, Mova (formally Halo) and thewoomb.com in South BeachThe W Hotel and The Heretic in Midtown Atlanta GAI have also been included on G.I.R.L. internet radio Gay days contest for two consecutive years.I have enjoyed every set I have played. But most importantly I learned the responsibilities and purpose that a DJ takes on when playing a set. A positive attitude speaks for itself. Djs that want to play only for themselves have a living room they can do it in.Currently my local residencies Include every Wednesday and alternating Saturdays at The Ramrod, Slammer on alternating Saturdays both in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and a Friday night guest spot at Twist in South Beach, FL I also have my "VIBRATE" podcast with full length cd mixes available on iTunes and Podomatic for free.The future holds the tale of my next steps and achievements. I am ready for the big color themed circuit parties, I am ready to expose new people to the sounds that are told through my eyes . I continue to do edits and customize the house, tribal and progressive tracks that I playEveryones support and positive comments have also been motivation and encouragement, It does not go unnoticed. SO, those who have not heard of me, keep an ear out and a comfortable pair of dance shoes.....
